Immediate Aftercare (First 24 Hours)
Keep the area clean: Leave the initial bandage on for the time advised by your artist (typically 2-4 hours if applicable)
Wash gently: After removing the bandage, wash the area gently with lukewarm water and mild, unscented soap. Pat dry with a clean, soft towel.
Avoid re-bandaging: Allow the skin to breathe, unless your artist advises otherwise.
Ongoing Aftercare (Days 1-14)
Moisturize: Apply a thin layer of the recommended ointment or fragrance-free moisturizer 2-3 times a day.
Avoid soaking: Do not submerge the area in water (such as swimming pools, hot tubs, or baths) until fully healed.
Avoid sun exposure: Keep the area out of direct sunlight or cover it with loose clothing. Once healed, use SPF to protect your tattoo/permanent makeup.
No picking or scratching: Avoid scratching, picking, or peeling any scabs or flakes that form. Let them fall off naturally to prevent scarring or uneven pigment.
Avoid makeup or other products: For permanent makeup, avoid applying makeup, lotion, or other skincare products on the treated area.
Long-Term Care (Once Healed)
Hydrate: Keep the area moisturized regularly to maintain vibrant colors.
Sun protection: Always use sunscreen to prevent fading from UV exposure.
Touch-ups: For permanent makeup, plan on a touch-up session within 4-6 weeks to refine the results.
Potential Reactions and When to Seek Help
Redness, swelling, or itching is normal initially but should subside within a few days.
Consult a healthcare professional at the first sign of infection such as increased redness, pus, or fever.

Keep the Area Clean:
Gently clean the treated area using a damp cotton pad or clean cloth. Do not submerge the area in water or let it stay overly moist.Apply Aftercare Products as Directed:
Use the ointment or cream provided or recommended by your artist. Apply a thin layer with clean hands to prevent dryness or cracking. Avoid over-applying as it can suffocate the skin and prolong healing.Do Not Touch or Scratch:
Avoid touching the area unnecessarily. Picking or scratching can lead to uneven healing, pigment loss, or scarring.Avoid Physical Activities That Cause Sweating:
Heavy sweating from workouts, saunas, or steam rooms can disrupt the healing process and may affect the retention of pigment.Protect Against the Sun:
Avoid direct sunlight and tanning beds until the area is fully healed. After healing, use SPF to prevent fading over time.No Alcohol or Caffeine:
Minimize alcohol or caffeinated drinks for at least 24 hours after your procedure, as these can affect healing and lead to increased sensitivity or swelling.Avoid Irritants:
Do not use antibiotics, retinoids, or exfoliating products (like glycolic acid or salicylic acid) on or near the treated area during the healing process.
Eyebrows Aftercare
Initial Appearance: Your brows will appear darker and more intense during the first few days, but this will soften as they heal. Light scabbing and flaking are normal.
Moisturizing: Apply your aftercare ointment sparingly for 7-10 days. Avoid applying makeup to the area during this time.
